Chrome version 40 will display the address bar of web pages that have a certificate in use expiring between 01.06.2016 and 31.12.2016 and still signed with the SHA-1 hash algorithm as if it were an unencrypted connection.

In Chrome 41, the encryption icon in the address bar is displayed with a red https icon and is therefore classified as insecure. This applies to all certificates that expire between 01.01.2016 and 31.12.2016 and have not yet been ratified with the SHA-2 hash algorithm.
