Certificate authorities have already switched to SHA-2 and issue SSL certificates with SHA-2 signatures by default. However, SHA-1 signed SSL certificates are still available as an option. These can then be ordered from us on request.
Until 31.12.2015 SHA-1-signed SSL certificates with a maximum term of 1 year will be issued.
As of 01.01.2016 no SHA-1-signed SSL certificates will be issued anymore, as the validity period of the SHA-1 certificates should not exceed 01.01.2017.
