To activate the time stamp for Comodo you need the following URL:

http://timestamp.comodoca.co

This time stamp server supports these two time stamp protocols listed below

  • RFC 3161 Time Stamp is used by SignTool (with the parameter „/ tr“) and other applications (such as Jarsigner). The Comodo Time Stamp Server automatically selects the corresponding signature algorithm (RSA / SHA-1, RSA / SHA-256, RSA / SHA-384), with which each time stamp can be signed with the hash algorithm you have defined (e.g. via SignTool´s “ / td“ parameter).
  • The Authenticode time stamp is used by older versions of SignTool (with the parameter „/ t“) and SignCode. Unfortunately, it is not possible for the Comodo Time Stamp server to select the corresponding signature algorithm with this protocol. Comodo currently uses RSA / SHA-1 as standard for compatibility with Windows Vista and XP. However, you can request a different signature algorithm by appending“? Td – <hash_algorithm>“ to the URL (e.g. http://timestamp.comodoca.com?td=sha256)

You can find more information about activating the time stamp at Comodo here and here.
